The More They Play, The More They Pay

If your game does not retain users, you will not be able to make them pay! Have you ever downloaded a video game from the Google Play store only to uninstall it a day later? How can you expect people to pay when they don't play?

A serious game developer who is serious about paying his/her bills will always think about retaining users and make them pay, for playing the game. Most smart users will only start paying when they stick and depend on your game to entertain them.

Before writing your first line of code, you must first determine what kind of game makes users stick. If you find that out, investing time and money into making a video game makes sense.

In the world that we live in today, premium games or paid games need to be marketed really well in order to produce sales. Since most indie developers cannot do that, your best bet is to come up with a game that immediately starts generating sales when you start a marketing campaign with a low budget.

Once you start retaining your users, you can start working on monetizing your game and doing whatever you can to make sure that you never have to worry about paying your bills again.

Design your game to retain users and you will have cash flowing into your back account before you know it.
